Windows 7 shuts down unexpectedly  shuts down while in hibernation mode
I am running Window 7 Ultimate on a HP dv7 computer with an Intel i7 quad core processor and an Nvidia graphics card. I have my power settings to go into hibernation after closing the lid on my laptop. Two or three times per week, when I get up in the morning, I notice that the computer is running even with the lid closed. When I open the lid, I see a message saying that Windows 7 is restarting due to an expected shut down. Sometimes Windows Media center turns on to record a TV show and then my computer doesn't go back into hibernate mode. I am concerned that Windows 7 seems to terminate abnormally so many times.Gary Frickey

Another side effect I forgot to mention is that when ever Windows 7 shut down "unexpectedly" I loose all of my pinned items in Excel, Word and other Office 2010 applications, even if those applications are not open at the time of the unexpected shutdown.Gary Frickey
